Calculations on tradingcalculations.com do not consider taxes, fees, commissions or other costs. The compounding calculations are calculated based on re-investing all profits every compounding period, which in reality is difficult as even with the intention of re-investing all profits, accounts will usually have money that is not invested. The compounding calculations use a fixed percentage return every compounding period, which, in reality will vary each period. With those points in mind, the calculations on tradingcalculations.com are for estimation purposes only and do not accurately reflect what returns anyone should expect. The omission of costs from calculations will have the most significant effect on compounding calculations as taxes and other costs will make the re-invested value after each compounding period smaller than calculated value. The calculated values will be in the same currency as the values input (e.g. buy price, sell price and initial investment). If you are trading shares that are not in your local currency and you input values in the foreign currency, the calculated values will be in the foreign currency, so you will need to convert the calculated values back into your currency if you want to find the value in your currency.
